I'm back after an obscenely long absence! I had a great time over the holidays, and I assume you guy(s) did too. Hopefully in the future I will post more. Anyway, onto the news.
EGM is being cancelled after many years of bringing gamers the news they care about. Do not fret, citizens, there is still GamePro, and the other assorted gaming magazines.
Today I will explain to you the double negative effect in video games. Simply put, if a fan of a crappy game (eg. Fable) hates the sequel or similar game, it generally means that the second game (eg. Fable 2) is good. I played Fable 2, and yes, it is a huge improvement on Fable 1. Who knew you could turn dirt into gold, or some other precious metal?
