Reality Check

I recently stumbled upon an article over at GameDaily that sums up most of my opinion on LittleBigPlanet. Take note, however, that it is the ONLY article I could find that points out the flaws of the game.

For example, X-Play gave LBP a 5/5. And X-Play is a pretty harsh reviewer. LBP seems to have, as I said last post, a Spore-like user created content system. And look at the latest Spore creations. They kinda... suck, don't you think? And imagine all the phallic levels! Yeah, I know Sony has added a Big Brother kind of online supervision system to prevent that. I'd rather have lists of dick themed levels than a program watching me remake Spiral Mountain from Banjo-Kazooie. Seriously. That's what I'd do, if I bought LBP (which I'm not).

Yes, yes, I know, there will be some cool custom levels, like the ones you can find on YouTube,
but most will suck. And finally, just look at it. It's a glorified minigame. A level editor. A thing that's usually a small part of most platformers. But with LBP, it IS the game.
